Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a relationship management solutions provider, revealed yesterday (4 December) that the company has entered into a new five-year licence agreement and support and maintenance contract with British Telecommunications plc (BT) (NYSE: BT), a communications solutions and services company.
Under the contract, which includes an option to be extended for an additional year, Convergys will provide its Infinys Rating and Billing Manager to BT.
As its strategic billing partner the company will support BT's major business divisions including BT Retail, BT Wholesale and BT Global Services with a team of technical consultants working alongside BT staff to help and consult on activities such as hardware configuration and performance, software architecture as well as day-to-day change requests.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
